Elliott

Thomas Elliott, B.S. ’58, writes, “Since 1961, my wife, Paula, and I have enjoyed life in Canada. We are retired musicians, having played mainly in the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra. Paula played flute and I played bassoon. At Buffalo State, I had the plea-sure of playing under Joe Wincenc in the Buffalo State Orchestra. Besides music, Canada is a great country for wilderness tripping by canoe, and snowshoe camping; these were a big part of my life. In addition, I played underwater hockey and underwater rugby in many countries, including the U.S. My best sport is free diving. Currently, I am addicted to running, and in spite of my very slow speed, I have been awarded many medals, since there is no competition in the over-80 categories.”
